Children’s Groups: Please note we are not running any face to face group work. We will update the site when this is available again.

All of our Children’s Groups are delivered in partnership with Barnardos.

Best Buddies

Our best buddies children’s groups provide an opportunity for children to take part in activities which encourage the building of positive relationships. Through activity and play we help young children to develop a greater awareness of personal safety, to better equip them for future life experiences. Our group work with children aims to empower them, increasing their confidence and self-esteem and improving their emotional resilience.

Risk and Resilience

The risk and resilience group provides an opportunities for older children to develop a better understanding of their feelings and emotions and learn about the differences in relationships. Through discussion and activities children learn about the impact of their actions on others and how to develop positive relationships with both friends and family.

About these Groups

The groups are organised over 10 session during school term time and run from local children’s centres or hubs in the community, that provide a safe environment for the children to learn whilst having fun. Group sessions are delivered by qualified staff and supported with volunteers. Children can access our children’s groups via their school, support staff or direct self-referral.
